Organized by: National Research Council Canada

Quantum technologies promise to be among the next enabling and foundational technological platforms, spanning potential transformative applications in Canadian industries such as finance, communications, and defence and security. This panel discussion will provide the opportunity to move the conversation beyond theoretical research, and toward the dilemma of quantum technology market readiness, commercialization, and adoption in key industries. The session will offer space to discuss solutions; by sharing knowledge, identifying opportunities and challenges, and building on the prospects announced in Budget 2021 with the launch of the development of a National Quantum Strategy.
