Organized by: University of Ottawa / Office of the Chief Science Advisor

In 2018, the Office of the Chief Science Advisor, in collaboration with the Treasury Board Secretariat and the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada, released the Model Policy on Scientific Integrity (mSIP). This panel will (a) report on subsequent progress on scientific integrity in the Government of Canada; (b) explore from multiple perspectives some of the challenges – some old, some new - to advancing a culture of scientific integrity in government; and (c) identify potential opportunities for surmounting these challenges, all with a view to gathering insights to inform Version 2.0 of the mSIP.
