Eleanor McGrath is a Research Officer at the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC). Eleanor is responsible for the scientific integrity portfolio and her work focuses primarily on assisting members in fostering a culture of scientific integrity in their department/agency. She supports members in developing scientific integrity policies and guidelines, provides advice on scientific integrity issues, and facilitates a group of scientific integrity-engaged members as a community of practice. Prior to her work at PIPSC, Eleanor has worked in the private, non-profit, and public sectors. Most recently prior to joining PIPSC, she worked on a variety of research and policy projects within the municipal public service. She also continues to work on academic research projects. Eleanor holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University. She is a member of the Board of Directors and served as Chair (2019-2021) of Sexual Options, Resources and Education (SHORE) Centre in Kitchener, Ontario.
