Janice Bailey is Scientific Director of the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Nature et technologies (FRQNT). The mandate of FRQNT is to develop and promote research activities to address societal challenges and stimulate socio-economic development. Prior to joining FRQNT, she was Professor and Vice-Dean of Research, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the Université Laval. As an active researcher for over 25 years, her research has explored the impact of the environment on reproductive physiology. During her career, she has been elected to executive governance positions in various national and international learned societies. Professor Bailey has been recognized for her research contributions and leadership, and was recently named a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for the Study of Reproduction.
