Higher Education Advisor

Julie Dassylva has been a higher education advisor at the City of Montreal's Economic Development Department since 2018. She contributed to the creation and development of the Carrefour de la recherche urbaine de Montréal, to act as a link between the City and higher education institutions in order to stimulate the emergence of innovative projects providing concrete solutions to urban issues through research.

Previously, she served as a research, innovation and partnerships advisor at the École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) for 14 years. She has worked to support researchers and students in the development of research collaborations and participated in several bodies and committees related to research administration. She was notably a member of the steering committee of CASRAI - Consortia Advancing Standards in Research Administration and co-chair of the Reconnect17 conference.
