Ketie Sandhu

Value Added Branch & Food Safety and Inspection Branch, Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development

Ketie Sandhu is currently the Director of Food Safety and Inspection and also the Director of Value Added branch (including the Food Development Centre and Business Development section) with Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development. 

Over the last 15 years, has Ketie held several senior management positions in both public and private agri-food sector in Canada and the U.S, specializing in the areas of continuous improvement, strategic planning, public policy development, change management, quality assurance and business risk assessment. Ketie has implemented business growth strategies across organizations of over 500 employees, and has led multinational regulatory outreach projects. Ketie holds a B.Sc in Agriculture majoring in Food Technology; and an M.S in Cereal and Food Sciences from the North Dakota State University. 

Ketie lives in Winnipeg with her husband and two daughters, ages 5 and 10.
