Dr. Marianne Mader is the Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Associations of Science Centres (CASC), one of the largest membership-based associations of informal science learning organizations in Canada, which collectively engages over 10 million visitors each year. In addition, CASC is the organizational lead of the #ScienceUpFirst initiative tackling science misinformation online, which has been shared to a combined audience of over 340 million social media accounts, and has garnered over 400,000 engagements through social media platforms since launching in January, 2021. CASC is also a key partner in the GenAction initiative that will engage > 200,000 youth in innovative activities to inspire them to take real action to fight climate change. Dr. Mader has dedicated her career to sharing her passion for science and space exploration through innovative public engagement, participatory education, planetary science research, and science communication.
