National Vice President
Norma Domey holds university degrees in Biochemistry and Toxicology. She is the National Vice-President of The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC), and the Chair of its National Science Advisory Committee. In 2020, she mobilized science professionals to take action on racism, and promoted the acknowledgement of public science work done by racialized scientists among PIPSC members. She is the ex-Chair of Environment & Climate Change Canada Visible Minorities Network (National Capital Region) and Co-Chair of the National Federal Black Employees Women’s Caucus. She was recently appointed to the Federal Black Employees (Multi-)Union Advisory Committee, and participated as a Panelist in an event on Advancing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the Sciences, with the Society of Environmental Toxicology & Chemistry (SETAC).  VP Domey was recently nominated as the PIPSC representative to the Centre of Expertise on Mental Health – Advisory Board.
