Todd Pugsley has worked at Suncor for 10 years in various technology groups. Currently he leads a group focused on technology development for the carbon competitive conversion of bitumen to both liquid fuels and non-combustion products. Prior to joining Suncor, Todd was in academia for 16 years where he ran an internationally-recognized research program in gas-solid fluidization. Todd holds a Masters and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary, a BSC in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, and a BSc in Chemistry from Mount Allison University.
